Riley has extensive experience as an editor in magazines, digital media, marketing, and trade and academic publishing. She excels in all stages of the editorial process—from developmental editing to proofreading—and is sought after by everyone from professional to novice writers, plus people whose native language is not English. Riley has a BA and MA in English and certificates in editing from the University of Chicago, the Institute for the Editing of Historical Documents, a certificate in diversity and inclusion from Cornell University, and a certificate in executive leadership from the University of Utah.
